The Mercedes probably can be really that 600 Pullmann, which was owned by the Mercedes Benz-company, and which was given to the German Government as a loan, when official visitors were coming. No joke: a lot of countries had 600 in their car-fleet - but West Germany never. Watch the licence plate, when you see pictures of official visits in the 60ies an 70ies.
