dsl ◊ 2017-12-07 21:31	I think an early Double Six VdP [Series III] (although first thumb is Jag XJ6 S2). Tints, vinyl roof, hanging fogs suggest VdP. Headlight washers standard on all Daimler S3 from July 81, but were optional previously. 2nd thumb shows badge on front wing, which seems after comparing loads of pictures in our collection and elsewhere to be significant for splitting Daimlers into 6 or 12 cylinder versions. Jags had this badge, but most Daimlers did not (which made wonder at first if this was a Jag with a bodged grille). But V12 Daimlers also seem to have had it, so it's only absent on the six cylinders.
