The Pontiac Tempest was assembled in the USA at the same two plants the Corsica and Beretta were, identified by letter E or Y, Linden NJ or Wilmington DE. BUT the VIN indicates GM of Canada (1G7). So I don't know if the country of origin is the main selling country or the assembly country. Tempests were only sold in Canada.
