dsl ◊ 2017-12-04 16:54	No - I think it's meant to be something much older and a specific car - LBL 6D - winner of the 1967 Monte Carlo Rally or one of its team-mates (LBL 66D, 606D, 656D and 666D). Big clue is the roof rack with rally plate - very unusual; many 1967 Monte photos show it without the rack but it was fitted some of the time (not sure if long stages or between stages) with 2 spare wheels. Some other details match (eg LHD wipers on RHD car) and Mk1/2 external door hinges, no 1986+ side indicators. A bit messy because wing mirrors are 1960s shape/position but wrong for LBL 6D, and it seems to be a Mk2 or later grille and later big rear lights, but I think it's clear what they were trying to do. LBL 6D as seen today may be a replica (some unconfirmed suggestions that the original was destroyed/scrapped), and there may well be some home-made replicas in Japan or elsewhere.
