The Caprice 9C1 squad seen in the film is not a real Newport Beach squad - it was a movie car where a few 1991 9C1s were sold at auction and repainted with the black and white livery used in SoCal law enforcement agencies. Since the squad seen had dual spotlites - the only agency which used this might be the TX Department of Public Safety since the usual H-town squads had only one spotlite on the LH side. |
