Bristol VRTSL - not, and never was a London bus. |

Not a Bristol, I'm afraid. Northern Counties Palatine bodywork, presumably on a Leyland or Volvo Olympian chassis. |

Doesn't half look like a series 2 VRT in the dark though. Be good to get the registration. I'd assumed this was in London, but if it's genuinely in service the route number is questionable. |

Should be a Northern Counties bodied Leyland Olympian. There is no Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian of this outlook. The upper deck front end window of a Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian is totally different from a Northern Counties bodied Leyland Olympian.... Thanks, 3asv6 - I've never noticed that detail before. Marshall Capital-bodied Dennis Dart SLF to its left, I would say. -- Last edit: 2017-11-11 12:26:06 |

The destination looks like a Manchester style long and thin not short a short and tall. It also looks like it says 92 Manchester. If this is correct then it's one of the F reg Olympians new to GM Buses and would be working for First in the tomato soup livery in this picture |
