in 1982 they were New Yorkers (I had one) in '83 they were called New Yorker Fifth Avenue as they put the New Yorker name on the new E-body (a streched K-car) then for '84+ they were called Fifth Avenues

Operated by Liberty Cab Association of Washington, DC, in the grand DC tradition of using anything and everything as taxis.

Location is Pennsylvania Avenue NW between 12th and 13th Streets, looking northwest towards Freedom Plaza.
