looks like Dodge M601. (The 3/4 ton WC's had the spare tire on the driver's side and a flat cowl/winshield line) |

yep...windshield..steep angle of the canvas top.....spare tyre ,all point to a Dodge W300M,M601 4x4 cargo..which is the military version of the civillian "power wagon"..but not a power wagon (if you see what i mean!!)..the winch was optional..with or without winch it was still a W300M..there was no seperate distinction in names for winchless vehicles. |

I admit, the pic is kind of blurry, but that roof looks sort of retrofitted, plus it looks like a lot of other things were changed, and it's "Been on the Road a while"?(old & beat up)It could be a M-601 instead of a WC-51,but it is still likely Ex-Military from somewhere, though? (And I know what you meant about "It's a Power Wagon...but not a Power Wagon" as well??) |

open cab W300M... the M601. The windshield is in the open position and the cab cover extends up and rearward to the bed bow. |
