Sans doute! It's almost the same as the 1/87 Wiking model car (Mercedes-Benz LP 312). |

It reminds me of another type of 1/87 vehicle, but from Brekina : the removal vans bodied by Ackermann. Unfortunately for us, they used many different chassis : Mercedes, MAN, Büssing, Henschel... Link to "www.altebrekina.de" |

The highest marks gets the Magirus-Deutz Saturn 145 FL:![]() followed by the Mercedes-Benz LP311: ![]() and the Borgward B 622: ![]() Less likely are the Büssing LU 5/10 'Burglöwe': ![]() and the MAN 750 L1F: ![]() I could not find any Ackermann bodies based on Krupp LF 901, Faun 603 V, Kaelble K 652 or Henschel HS 165 T. But the base models would not match anyhow. ![]() |

So how was the Magirus chosen then ? |

By looking at the windows, the trim, shape of the grille and position of the lights I awarded the Magirus-Deutz the gold medal for likelyness, silver for the Mercedes-Benz and bronze for the Borgward. ![]() |

The upper trim looks more like the Mercedes example to me. |

Don't go by the trim on the doors or upper body. This seems to change over the years independent of the base model. The front trim under the windscreen is identical for the first three makes. I think it is impossible to be absolutely sure. We could try to find a picture of the actual vehicle, which hopefully has made it into preservation or is visible on other pictures. It seems to be a truck used by cinema light crews. |

Fine work guys! ![]() I suggest to add Ackermann , as it is a specific body here, one of the Wiking 1/87 model: ![]() I had the Deutsche Bundespost, the Schencker (Wiking/Liliput) and Smart (Wiking Liliput) version of it too, but I sold them before having a numeric camera (in 2000) ...therefore no pictures of them ![]() |

I still have the Smart version, but I don't have a numeric camera (nor another one) ![]() |
