The colour of the indicators depends on the trim level: the S trim (and all the basic trims based on it) always had amber indicators, more upmarket versions had all white indicators except some 1997-98 SX which had the combination of amber indicators and (on most markets) body coloured bumpers |

Perhaps they meant that after facelift they were white in all of them. EDIT: Or not - Alex_DJ comment about the S-trim. -- Last edit: 2017-06-11 21:27:04 |

No, on the contrary: with the 1997 facelift the 'SX', which previously had white indicators, switched to the amber ones, unless it was replaced by the 'Cult' (which brought back the combination white indicators-black bumpers) To summarize: 1994-97 Punto S 1994-97 Punto SX 1997-99 Punto S/Sole 1997-98 Punto SX (for certain markets, e.g. Italy) 1997-98 Punto SX (for other markets, e.g. Germany, Austria, UK) 1998-99 Punto Cult (replaces the SX) ![]() |

True, true, true. Then I remembered that at the end of the 90s orange indicators were to see also in newer Puntos with more "fresh" body colors. |

White indicators were at first for SX, EL and ELX trims. Later for ELX (Sporting and GT excluded) |
