Headrests were available during the whole production life of both the [W 108] and the [W 109], but was slightly different from MY 1968. Other features suggesting a 1968+ MY are the grille with bigger squares, hubcaps covering the whole wheel and the sturdier door mirror, and possibly the side lamps. When taking the above in account, there're only two possible models, namely the 1968+ 280 S and the 280 SE. If nothing else suggests 1969 as production year, like the licence plate, please remove the 1969 MY!!! -- Last edit: 2017-06-07 11:20:56 |
