By the VIN this is a 1993 registered in 1994. Built September of 1993. This VIN does not adhere to MY so it should not be a 1994 MY. The 10th digit is a 0... Not every manufacturer adheres to the MY system and some use both type of VINs. This is prime example. We should not arbitrarily move up the MY on Japanese vehicles as this is a clear cut example of a VIN without a MY indicator. We should use the build date: https://www.toyodiy.com/parts/q?vin=JT121LHB800004850 Edit: I have learned through experience I was incorrect here.
