yes. any clearer shot of the plate? I've spotted at least five Tatra 613 in Pyongyang. All from 1990/91 and all with private plates, even with following numbers. |

These Tatras have an own story, as the chairman of the German Tatra-Club told me. All were from 1990/91 and, because due the collapse of the Eastern Block, not sellable any more (the 613 was exclusively for the COMECON-nomenklatura, not officially available for the common people). After a time some Northkoreans snapped up all of them en bloc. |

In North Korea cars are sometimes given as gifts from the Leader to distinguished writers and artists, etc, so the yellow plates suggest that the Tatras were used for that purpose. |

These Korean Tatras have somewhat strange proportions: http://www.tatraworld.nl/2013/01/04/4774/ Like the rear overhang would be longer than usual, but must be optical illusion I guess (with help of modified rear supsension, mudflaps?). |

Wait, how did they make a DPRK pop-song without government praise in it?? |

Just ask an IMCDb-comrade, who can understand Korean, if there are songs without an politcal content among: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADN0H6MREHA&list=RDADN0H6MREHA#t=1 |

The answer is that they don't. Here's a subtitled video of that song. She's telling the guy to go away because her duty to the Party comes first. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6u_a0EUkA0 |

Also strange that they bought 1990 models, as by then it was the democratic capitalist CSFR and not the communist CSSR... |
