Silver Cloud. Phantoms have suicide doors - and are hellishly expensive compared to SCs.

Cloud LWB, I think with wing top indicators so SC1 or 2; also looks like big over-riders so SC3 unlikely.

Forget the over riders, they are a bolt on part which can be changed at the whim of the owner in an hour or so. Look at the top of the front wings, you can't change those sidelights so easily.
I think that there were no, or very few, long wheelbase SC1s, but my book has gone walkabout, will do a recce and confirm or deny.

SC1 LWB was Oct 57 launch so only 2 years production and 122 made compared to 299 SC2 LWB (and 253 SC3 LWB) - http://www.rrab.com/models.htm#top

I see that you have found the info, so I will not look for the book.

I had to go to have a new battery fitted on the Mercédès this afternoon, it failed to proceed due to lack of volts this am, so I gave it a couple of hours on my intelligent charger which got it going, and then paid a visit to Halfords. If it fails again in the morning, I shall know that the £200 the battery cost was a waste of shekels, and then the fun will start if the thing has an electrical fault.
