dsl ◊ 2019-03-09 12:56	Has been restored and "enhanced" for appearance at 2019 Geneva show as Golden Sahara II. With glowing orange tyres.

Barris created the Golden Sahara from a crashed Lincoln Capri, then Jim Street commissioned changes to the tail fins, glass top, added more gold and a number of interesting electronic gadgets to create the Golden Sahara II. The car remained in Street's collection until his death, and was recommissioned and restored for Geneva. The Neothane tyres were an original '50/60s feature.
