Buses and large trucks in Japan have green plates, but I also think that the mall and parking scenes were filmed in South Korea. Filming in Japan is very expensive, and perhaps the producers found a closed mall in Korea where they could film. |

Pretty sure at some point they DID sell cars in Japan. One known Kia that has been sold over there is the rebadged Lotus, Kia Elan. Sold in Japan as the Kia Vigato. I don't know about other models though |
