I am a motorsport fan but I never understood american fondness for NASCAR and Drag racing, NASCAR is boring as hell and drag racing lasts about 3-5 seconds and over 90% of the time races are settled right at the start and this is the country which in the 80s had the awesome IMSA GTP series monster cars with over 800 BHP, ground effects , manual transmission and NO electronics.. yet the series never took off https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWwNwQ6l8xA -- Last edit: 2017-02-25 22:36:54 |

When the NASCAR cars came to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for the first time, i was sure ther would be only 3 or 4 of them to cross the finish line, with all the other crashing here and there as i'm too used to see them run in circles ( not an avid fan but i saw a few races from time to time )...  |
