Cab is a Volvo obviously, but I think it's another logo on the grille...It's in Bolivia.

It could've been made in nearby Peru:

Or Brazil:

Or even Argentina:

Yes, it's near Peru.

The point is, it's hard to believe it's anything else but a Volvo.

What do we use as origin?

sweden. or belongs, for example, a usa-manufactured mercedes m-class to usa? or a polish-manufactured opel astra to poland?

No, but some trucks (or cars) are manufactured in and for a country. For example the Volkwagen Fox (Made in Brazil)

The Fox is a special case, as it was actually a model from VW Brazil. The Touareg for example is built in Slovakia, but it is a German VW. It is the country where the car was designed that counts usually.

i agree to antp. manufacturer is one point, another point is the market. what's about cooperate developing, like vw sharan, ford galaxy, seat alhambra? to me: sharan and galaxy - german, alhambra - spain. opel omega - german, vauxhall omega - uk. mercedes sprinter - german, dodge sprinter - usa. but it's not easy in any case, there's no final rule. a good example is the now chevrolet-integrated kia product range in europe. it's not easy to sort a chevrolet matiz to usa ;)

Humppamann, GM bought Daewoo, not Kia, so it's Daewoos that are now "Chevrolets".

sorry, your are right. but it's the same crap ;) it does not really matter, if you are asked about the car you drive, answer with "chevy" and own a matiz if it`s daewoo or kia based ;)
