Yep but the darkness isn't helping narrow the year nor tell us what is on the back of the truck looks like a camper top and towing a trailer? Is that possible to have a camper top and tow a trailer (Not my area of expertise). 1988-2000 until a better image surfaces. It could have 1990+ headlamps but I cannot be certain. It could have a 1994+ grille but again I cannot be certain [GMT480] though. |

It is using the 5th wheel affixed on the bed for heavy towing. |

That is what is referred to as a headache rack, it keeps cargo from coming through the rear window and giving you a real headache. As @rjluna2 noted, the truck is towing a trailer using either a gooseneck or 5th wheel hitch. Most likely a gooseneck given the fact that it appears to be a horse trailer. 5th wheels are usually reserved for large camper trailers. |

Thanks fellas. Learned something new each day! Found out why the crew cab started in 1992 for the [GMT400/480] 3500 series. Digging around on the forums shed light that the previous generation crew cab was made until 1991 for crew cab models. If you google chevrolet/gmc crew cab using the 1991 model year you will pull the trucks I thought were discontinued in 1988 when the GMT400 platform came out. Omg wonderful news!!!! sarcasm and we thought ford was bad with their changes... Edit: older generation isn't called c/k is it? -- Last edit: 2019-05-31 02:21:51 |

Pre-1987 it is called C/K, but the 1987-1991 is called R/V to avoid confusion with the new [GMT400] platform. |
