Most likely a 1967/68 Mercury |

The other cars I can identify on this picture are a 1960 Oldsmobile (the white car partially seen at the left), a Buick Riviera boattail, a 1973 Pontiac Grand Prix, a 1970 Buick Electra 225 and Kojak's 1974 Buick Century 455 that's already listed. |

It's a Breezeway model but the lack of trim between the taillights makes me think it's either a Monterey or Montclair. |

I thought all the Breezeway models had a reverse angled C pillar like in the link below http://www.mercuryarchive.com/1965to1968/1965MontclairBreezewaySedan.JPG |

Mike, the reverse slant C-pillar was up until 1966. The last two years of Breezeway production had the C-post revert to a more tratitional angle. The drawback to this change was that the rear window could only retract about 2-inches rather than allthe way down as on the older models. ![]() Check this link out: http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~stanchfi/1964-models/breezeway.html -- Last edit: 2007-04-16 23:38:32 |
