FIL 5580 issued County Fermanagh from Oct 86, last recorded on a black 2000 Mercedes-Benz E240 Classic 4dr saloon, so maybe a successively recyled undertaker plate to disguise that their "final taxis" are fairly elderly. -- Last edit: 2019-01-20 17:18:54 |

The usual Coleman Milne Cardinal |

Maybe this 1980 Coleman Milne Cardinal with the mirror finish wheel covers filmed several years earlier at same cemetery, though older grille and a proper plate because it was fairly new then. |

I don't think so. Coleman Milne often advertised their Granada-based Cardinal/ Grosvenor/ Dorchester with various types of mirror finish wheel covers (depending on what they had in stock, the most common ones are seen below), so that's what they were meant to look like. I reckon this was done to retain the classic look known from the earlier Granadas which came with original bling-bling wheel covers anyway. Both grille types are known from official CM advertisements and brochures, so both vehicles in question just look like standard CM conversions to me. Link to "openiso.org" Link to "i2.wp.com" |
