If I'm not mistaken, the small logo was replaced by a bigger in 1988: (1980-87 // 1988-92) So with the double grille, either a (February) 1981-87 van if with a Diesel engine, or 1983-87 if a gasoline powered T3. As usual with a 30-years old vehicle, the camper roof may have been a later addition, but the small logo just above the left headlamp could also indicate the name of the coachbuilder who made it. Or a VW special model... ⇒ Transporter by default? |

That's what I meant, or the rear end where the fuel filler would be. In short, a better view than just the door window. |
