Skilleter ◊ 2010-05-14 13:56	I agree it looks like a Southern Coachcraft body of about 1936, so could be a re- body of a late production 20 or very early 20/ 25. It was during that year that the last 20/ 25's and first 25/ 30's were built. Earlier than this the front wings would not extend down to 'bumper' level and later cars tended to have 'fuller' wing lines and, often, 'draughtless ventilation'. The car in the foreground is a 1959 Buick. The car looks to me like a somewhat 'cavilier' 1970's American restoration. You could specify chrome 'ACE' wheel discs in the 1930's, but they were rather rare then. The front bumper does not look quite right and the garish all- red colour scheme would have been distinctly 'non 'U' for the 1930's- though of course you could have had your new Rolls finished in any colour that could be mixed. -- Last edit: 2010-05-14 14:01:55
