Isuzu TX, I guess. But I woudn't say more. (Seen twice in the movie, on the same purpose and in the same kind of frame, very partial.) |

This brochure, with a handwritten 1952 on the last page, shows the same front face? |

Sorry, I've been dozing off. It's got the 1950-53 grille - 1954+ grilles have the 4x2 layout. -- Last edit: 2015-08-06 23:13:28 |

"World Coffee Caramel" says the flag. |

Thanks for the details, Lateef. Does 4x2 layout mean the 2 main headlamps in the fenders and the 2 small ones in the grille? If so, this configuration seems to have appeared in 1955 or 1956, as the 1954 brochure cover (ja) doesn't show these additional lamps. (The linked page seems to give a whole story of the TX, although weirdly stored in a directory named porsche356a911s. Happy Japanese language readers, who apparently also have a fairly complete Wikipedia page about this truck) -- Last edit: 2015-08-07 04:51:54 |

No, I mean that the upper grille has got eight grille slots (4x2) starting in 1954, rather than sixteen (8x2) as seen on this example. |

Thanks again for this explanation Could the additional lamps, when present, be a 1955+ or 1956+ clue, or were they optional / put on some models only? |
