CDL2701 wrote The DVLA details are correct. I owned this vehicle from 1976 to 1986 and hired it to Granada TV for the Bulman episode shown. This car also featured in both episodes of a two part 'Miss Marple' story called Bertram's Hotel, driven (and crashed!) by the female 'baddie'....

Morganism wrote We are currently considering buying this car from a Morgan dealer near Reading as a rolling chassis.

OCO 738 seems to be a white retro racer now.

I was intrigued as it looks like a 4-seater here, but a 2-seater as a racer - there's a clue from this forum thread - "Photos from 1977 show the car as a 4-seater painted red with black wings and in a state of strip down/rebuild. After an extensive rebuild 'Coco' was resprayed mid-blue . Unfortunately the car was loaned to the BBC for an episode of Miss Marple and substantially damaged by a stunt driver simulating a crash in the story! After many weeks of negotiation the BBC parted with £6000 in compensation ....."
