I think that it has a bigger engine than 500 (stripes in Abarth style)? |

According to the label on car from this site: Link to "www.riekmann.prohosting.com" It is a "650 TR II", but the description under pic is "500". -- Last edit: 2006-11-30 15:53:54 |

I dont think, we see an abarth-puch. >>It is a "650 TR II", << is very proximate! it was great 1965 in monte carlo. you could get 60 HP from a 676-engine. this is really strong for a 500 kg-slingshot. see the increadible 700 IMP: http://www.van.at/flame/facts/set02/puch03d.htm >>stripes in Abarth style<< no. we all did it like that, when we wanted to look our *puch-schammerl* faster as it was. :-)) martin -- Last edit: 2006-11-30 15:58:30 |

No, no I didn't think that it can be an Abarth, but that the stripes are similar = some sport version . Thanks for the info and confirmation der.krusche. -- Last edit: 2006-11-30 16:18:29 |

I don't know much about them, but I think that I will change this. Seems that these Austrian Fiats are very interesting. -- Last edit: 2006-12-01 15:46:32 |

You're welcome, bro. |

body came from fiat. but it had an austrian engine: 2 cyl boxer. if tuned, you had to remove the spare wheel under the front hood and fill the hutch with concrete to keep the front wheels on the road. :-)) martin |

have you seen the convertible? http://www.van.at/flame/flame02/set02/cab71.htm but the really rare version is the *buggy*: http://www.kultur.at/flame/flame03/set03/b155.htm :-)) martin |

Yes I know this version , because originally it was a Polski Fiat 126p Cabrio (only Polski-Fiat had a cabrio version), however was marketed in some countries by italian Fiat as Fiat. Rare car but friend of my father had one. And the second car - very nice buggy. -- Last edit: 2007-02-23 17:39:18 |

I just found out: the "buggy" is a protoype with 4 cylinder boxer engine instead of the 2cyl.-boxer. :-)) m. |

After small research I think it is just a "500" from the years 1957-1959 with some not original stripes. The first sport versions, were introduced in 1962. In 1959 the "500 D" was introduced, which already had a different front end with new emblems (withouth this fake grill). http://www.steyrpuchclub.at/puch-geschichte.htm |
