Plutôt le bus, mais les voitures aussi. Si on ne les référence pas ailleurs.

The Austin got its own page:
/vehicle_42355-Austin-A40-Devon-1947.html
This is for either the bus or the car on the left.

Not a BMC-Farina or Vauxhall Victor in my opinion... 'C' pillar is not correct. More likely to be Holden perhaps?

Agree the centre car is Austin A40 Devon.

Since this was filmed in Australia, is the car on the right driving on the wrong side of the road? Or is it supposed to be in the USA?

Holden Special Station Sedan (1961- [EK]) ...If the target is station wagon...
*"station wagon" was named "Station Sedan" in that day, I believe.

"Station Sedan" is not much more strange than Ford's "Country Sedan" wagons :D

Yes, the car on the left is an EK Holden Station Sedan (May 1961 - July 1962).

The car on the far right is also a Holden, although, from the lack of any obvious door pillars to the back of the passenger cabin, it looks to me as if it is a utility (or pick-up) rather than a sedan or station wagon. It appears to be an EK as well (the grille looks like that of an EK), although there is an off chance it may be an earlier FB model - the main external difference between the FB and EK was the chrome trim at the rear, which you only find on the sedans and station wagons.

The location is the corner of Salisbury Road and Percival Street, Stanmore in Sydney's inner-west. Although it looks like the car on the right is on the wrong side of the road, it isn't - there is a narrow concrete median strip at this point.

The car on the right is also an EK. The sidestrip runs all the way to the front rather than curving up towards the windshield.

The term "station sedan" stopped with Holden FC. The term was later changed to station wagon to match the US version of the term.

In Australia a station is a very large farm (referenced in A Town like Alice by Peter Finch). A station sedan is a sedan adapted for use on a station.

The car on the right has the front blinkers on the outside of the vertical centreline of the headlights which makes it an EK.

An FB would have the front blinkers on the inside of the vertical centreline of the headlights.
