Patton tanks were designed by the Detroit Arsenal and built there and by the American Locomotive company.

It is Spanish but its an M-47 Patton. The differences between this and the M-48 is that the M-48 had wider fenders, no hull machine gun, horizontally arranged headlamps, square manlet, no side-turret mounded scopes, no storage bin on the back of the turret, and usually a different muzzlebreak. (Although the muzzlebreak on this tank isnt the one manufactured with it but added by the Spanish army.)

They were all built by Chrysler.

Also, US nomenclature does not use dashes, at least outside aviation. i. e. M47, not M-47. Ever.

Yep.

Spain didn't have any Tiger IIs, so they didn't exactly have an option.

I just noticed, the interiour shots show a steering mechanism that isn't correct for Tigers OR M47's! It shows the typical two-lever system; Tigers use a steering wheel, whilst M47's had a single joystick that acted for both steering and gear shift.
