Seems so. The British Rhine Army in Germany had them also in use. That ones, which were used as school-buses, were "disguised" in the 80ies, caused by the IRA-danger. The "camouflage" were: regular German plates have replaced the British military ones. Very helpful For the non-Europeans for better understanding: this type of bus was never in regular use in Germany, probably nowhere else outside Britain anyways. |
