Main screenshot made at 02:43. 1941-47 Art Deco truck indeed. • 1½-ton payload = Heavy-Duty model = 4104 / OR pickup (but this model existed only for 1946 and 1947 model years); • 3104 = ½-ton payload = Light Delivery pickup = AK code too. In a nutshell: 1½-ton payload and 3104 code are incompatible (02:43 // 02:45 // 02:53) With no vertical reinforcement bar before the rear fender, this pickup is a light-duty Light Delivery one (115"/2.92 m wheelbase, ½-ton payload). It has then both the (1941-59) 3104 and the (1941 only) AK Chevrolet internal code. For now, the 2-letter option is the only one used in the IMCDb for the Art Deco trucks. ⇒ 1941 Chevrolet Light Delivery [AK] _____ Edit (some months later): The 3104 model code appears to be better, in fact, as AK was just for the 1941 model year. Even if this truck is a 1946 3100, it also have the 3104 code... And the 1½-ton pickup (4104 model code) was available from 1941 onward. -- Last edit: 2015-09-17 06:43:20 |
