Hrrmmphhh, you should know, that this word makes me very nervous.
Since years I'm searching for a special Intourist-brochure and cannot get it. I was (as usual) a too nice guy and let my Dutch friend first, when it came on eBay once - but then never again.

Intourist means "foreign tourist" in short form. Its about special treatment to nonsoviet people. I think that word negative for all.

Sorry, I wrote mistakable ;) Sure, I know, what Intourist was. And "nervous" I don't mean in a negative way - I'm just controlling all eBay-auctions worldwide with "Intourist" again and again, on the hunt for this specific brochure.

It's a tourist-guide "Travelling with the own car in the Soviet Union" from the early 80ies, specially made for West German tourists (the DDR-citizens had total different rules). Why? Because there is a VW K 70 with a Soviet plate on the cover! :king:
Recently there was such a brochure for West Germans at eBay - unfortunately the 1970-edition, which just a *cough* total uninteresting Moskvich-pic. :(

'Excited' rather than 'nervous', then ;)

Yes, my fault. I used "nervous" in the German meaning of "nervös"

Deswegen hatte ich hier eine besser verständliche Übersetzung gegeben... ;)

From which car is this dashboard? Link to "cgi.ebay.de"

On the back side even three Western (tourist) cars cars in the USSR :)

No, it's not the brochure, I'm looking for. :( It's the very different DDR-version.

From Moskvitch, it is written AZLK at the steering wheel.
This brochure Link to "cgi.ebay.de" of Intourist I had (souvenir from the tourist section of Palace of Culture and Science :sun: ), unfortunately it has been sold with the old flat. As far as I remember there were only 2 cars in it, this red Moskvitch and white Zhiguli 2101.

Only a bit. ;)
The pic looked familiar to me - I expect it is from the same photo session as those in 1978 brochure of Moskvitch, which scan I've downloaded once:

Nice links, thanks.

I must admit, that I cannot exactly remember any more interior-details of my one and only Moskvitch-experience. It was in Winter 1989, when I've sat in the "Mossi" of friends in the DDR. I even have forgot, if it was a 1973 or a 1977 one. I remember, that I was very irritated about the idiotic place of the spare-wheel, which has blockaded the half of the trunk. And that I've always tried to lift up the trunk-lid higher, because it opened not really wide, until the guys said "Forget it, it don't go wider".

It was only a short ride. We all have preferred to make the trips around with my father's 1981' Passat. It was very important for the DDR-people to going around with a Western car. Indeed, in the DDR-province everyone has always looked behind any cars with Western plates...

Back to the bus, to be honest I'm still not sure is it a TAM (of any type) - it had more rouned roof and seems different ventilation equipment there.

Same livery, same doors, same rounded things on the roof (ventilators?)...

True, back then I was not aware of this smaller model existence.
