The picture is very dark but the grille seems to have the fine slats of 1942 .I go for a 1942 Packard Clipper Eight Sedan ( 21st. series model 2101). |

Pilou, did you mean '46? 21st. series and Clippers 2101 looks to be 46+. I haven't found Clippers in '42 |

I mean a 1942 Packard Clipper Eight Sedan but as a 1942 it is not a 21st series but a twentieth series model 2001 .Sorry for my mistake. The Packard Clipper Eight was first unveiled by the factory in march 1941 in Sedan form , later followed by the Club Sedan and the Clippers 160 and 180 Touring Sedans. Real production of the twentieth series including the Clippers and the old style Super Eight 160's and Super Eight 180's ran from august 1941 to february 1942.Body of the Clippers was almost identical to the 1946 21st series cars , but the 1942 had much thinner and more numerous grille slats which seems to be the case here |

As a 4-door, do not see why this could not be a '41. Changing to 1941 as first possible year of a known range. |
