The front car is a DeSoto Firedome of 1954 ( series S-19).It seems to have the airconditioning airscoops on the sides of the booth. The station wagon behind it is also a Chrysler product , 1955 or 1956 but unidentifiable |

No reason to be ashamed If your not positive, just add "looks like" or put a question mark after your guess. It makes editing easier, thanks, we do appreciate your help -- Last edit: 2006-04-09 18:08:29 |

This is a 1953 DeSoto Firedome -a 1954 model has round tail lights (upper) and round backup lights (lower) ,in the bezel-1953 models have tail lights similar to those on a 1953 Chrysler. 1954 DeSotos have very pronounced "V8" medallions close to the trailing edges of the rear fenders, while this one is just a "V" at the center of the trunk lid. If you notice, this one says "EIGHT" inboard below the trunk lid. The side trim for both years is the same. -- Last edit: 2006-09-03 05:09:50 |
