AEC 'B' type, formerly operated by the LGOC (London General Omnibus Company). About 900 were commandeered by the army during WW1 for troop transport across France. A few made it back to London and were overhauled for further service! See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGOC_B-type |
