Some confusion about this car. Seems to be 599 JUM, a 1964 Leeds issue onscreen which is now dead for checking but did show as Registration: 599 JUM Make: TRIUMPH Model: HERALD 1200 (2 DOOR SALOON) Colour: GREEN on one database - tyreshopper - in 2011, but not now. Forum thread suggests car was scrapped some time ago, but the plate has been kept on retention and not yet re-used. The confusion is increased as Lledo Vanguards modelled the car with 596 JUM in Heartbeat set HB1002 in 1996 |

These TV people are really mischievous little monkeys sometimes. 596 JUM would have been a genuine plate for something/whatever so is a double-naughty if it wasn't originally a Herald. |

There's been a few cases where a car has been replaced in a TV show and they've ended up using a slightly wrong plate on the replacement one. This is an example: /vehicle_29901-Rover-216-SD3-1987.html 599JUM may be the original Heartbeat Triumph, the Series 2 on car may have the 596 plate to try and make sure no one noticed. |

Confirmed scrapped. What a waste of a good car. |
