This third generation was actually debuted for the Indonesian market for 2016 MY in January 2016, not a 2019 without a plate info and VIN, and Indonesia would start building these for the 2017 MY in April 2017. No built tag yet, as early third generation Pajero Sports for 2016 MY only were actually imported from Thailand initially, and already said above, Indonesia would start building these for the 2017 MY. Default goes to 2016 and no built tag without a plate info and VIN. Three different trim levels were initially available: GLX, Exceed and Dakar. A fourth trim level, Dakar Ultimate appeared from the localized 2017 MY. Dakar is only available with a 2.4 4N15 turbocharged four-cylinder diesel (Dakar Ultimate will have that same engine too), can be opted with 4x2/2WD or 4x4/4WD. GLX and Exceed gets the 2.5 4D56, also a turbocharged four-cylinder diesel - the former is 4x4/4WD only, while the latter is 4x2/2WD only.
