Ford LTD Crown Victoria Country Squire. From this view I can only tell the year is somewhere between 1979-1991, I need to see the front to narrow it down. |

I would narrow it down between 1979 and 1987 just by the taillights. -- Last edit: 2008-01-03 07:29:05 |

Just "LTD Country Squire" I guess? |

Yes, they didn't add "Crown Victoria" to the nameplate until 1982 or 1983. |

But were there some "LTD Crown Victoria Country Squire"? Wasn't Crown Victoria just for sedans? edit: it seems that we have few "LTD Crown Victoria Wagon", but no with Country Squire... -- Last edit: 2008-01-03 19:27:34 |

They used the name Crown Victoria on both sedans and wagons. Not all wagons were Country Squires however, only the more upscale models with the wood paneling were called "Ford LTD Crown Victoria Country Squire" (yes, a very long name). The wagons without the wood paneling and upscale appointments were just called "LTD Crown Victoria Wagon". -- Last edit: 2008-01-03 21:38:29 |
