By the black window trim, I'd say it's a GSA, not a GS. Also, the black logos on the rear were introduced in July 1981. The colour seems to be Bleu Camargue (AC635) which makes it model year 1984(+). Since this model year all GSAs were built in Spain (except the 300 1987 GSA Entreprise built in Indonesia...).

I'd say it is Blue platine (AC632) It is just a tint lighter then Blue Camargue. There is no telling if it is a Club or Spécial since the type is not readable and there are no other distinguishing features on the car.

You're right that Bleu Camargue might be a bit too dark... Do you know when Bleu Platine was used, I cannot find it in my infos (Gazoline Hors-Série #39: Citroën GS). Btw I get the impression that this car doesn't have headrests; could that be an indication that it's a Spécial, not a Club?

Blue Platine (AC632) was used in annee modelle 1972 and 1982. Since this is a GSA it is obviously 1982. You are right, headrests could be an indication that it is a GSA (with nothing to it) or GSA Spécial, but since headrest are easily removed and some people liked tot do that back then. I would not want to identify a car surely on wheather it has headrests or not...

I mainly use my own files for identification of the colours. http://www.citroen-gs.nl/ -> Specifications -> Colours. About the Gazoline magazine, I have it too it seems it is mainly based on the book "La GS de mon pere". Both are nice publications, but unfortunatly the authors are not always very good in checking their sources. The number of produced GS Birotors for instance is incorrect in both issues. Also the always forget the normal GSs which are produced in Indonesia untill 1991. :(
