Has tax disc and probably RHD, so a UK car rather than visitor. 2 door rare here, arrived May 72 in single spec with sports bits. Glass's doesn't specifically state the 2-door was SR, but lists it with same details as 4-door SR which arrived at same time. |

1975 - 1981 for Opel Ascona B? Arrival in UK in early 1972 must therefore only apply to Ascona A? Versions of Ascona B shown in one UK brochure (1978) were quoted as 1.6 2-door and 4-door saloons - plain pressed steel wheels 'N' low compression engine. 1.6S 2-door and 4-door Deluxe and 1.9S 4-door Deluxe Saloons - Sports pressed steel wheels in silver and bright trim on wheel-arches 1.9S Berlina saloons as Deluxe but added rubber over-riders and Berlina script on side of wings, black and silver Sports wheels.
