I added this one mainly because of the interesting dually arrangement... it seems to have a narrow track and not the usual wide fender flares?

Profile looks like 1973 or later generation Chevrolet/GM with different taillights :??:

I agree, definitely a GM truck of some sort.

The taillights appear to be from a 1973 Ford F-100 :??: but the rest is clearly GM. Interestingly we have another one on this site with those taillights /vehicle_279716-Chevrolet-C-10-1981.html

Both in Mexico, too.

Yes, I've never seen any here in the USA that have those taillights or that dually arrangement...Mexican built perhaps???

You certainly have a valid question here

I would like to know too! :)

Wikipedia doesn't mention any Mexican assembly for this generation, yet both Mexican examples have these strange taillights, so I'm not sure just what the deal is... :??:

There was a discussion on a Chevy forum about these lights, according to the poster, both styles of lights were available:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=509696

And there is a picture from a Mexican Chevy brochure that show the lights on a 1986 model:

My guess is the trucks probably are shipped without beds, and there are special beds attached in Mexico. It's similar to how many Japanese trucks were shipped to the US.

So, what is the verdict?

Made for: MEX?

Also, since this is in Mexico, we can pretty much assume it's a Chevrolet (as opossed to GMC), no?

Why would we assume that?

A lot of Mexican Chevrolets have the same front facia as GMCs, but with Chevrolet badging, so I assumed that GMCs weren't sold there, or would be less likely in general. Also, notice how the ad in your link refers to it as a "Chevrolet C-15" (as opossed to Chevrolet C-10 or GMC C-15)?

I don't think GMCs were officially sold in Mexico for a while.

See? That's why I think this one's a Chevy.

Chevy in Mexico mainly used GMC, Pontiac and Olds bodies for their cars.
