Think it was a late '70s trim & interior package? (Between the plain jane/stripper Custom Deluxe & the more loaded out Silverado) |

1977-1978 Chevrolet C-10 Bonanza Fleetside No cosmetic differences in the hood from '77 to '78. There might be internal structural differences, like the inside edges of the tailgate which were changed three different times during the '70s and once in the '80s (!). But those can’t be seen without close examination. The Bonanza was introduced for the 1976 model year, and basically grouped the more popular optional features together in one value package. I believe the last year model for the Bonanza value trim was 1979. These are rare now, not many are left. You could think of the Bonanza trim as the equivalent of the "rapid spec packages" that are offered on today’s cars. It’s cheaper to buy the one package that includes the designated options, rather than buying each option as a standalone. |

nice find, you definetly don't see many Bonanzas anymore. I remember these were named Bonanza because of GMs advertising relationship with the television show (Bonanza) but I don't remember any other specifics. |

This belongs to Dr. Joel Fleischman in the series. |

This is Joel's truck for most of the series. It catches fire and explodes in S05E07. |
