The car not identified for nearly 10 years, but I still think it was Audi 80 [*]:

Weasel1984 wrote Audi 80? I will move this then. For a while I was thinking about Solara, but fenders don't match. Audi 100? Not too small and with different rear?

ingo wrote Due the front I thought about Lada Samara Sedan (was it available in 1988, or only the hatchback?), but the back doesn't look so.

Wicio wrote I think, that can be Talbot Tagora

Weasel1984 wrote I find this back very similar to Samara Sedan/Forma actually :D , but it was introduced in 1990.
Jak na Tagorę zbyt klinowaty przód wg. mnie i przednie nadkola były głębsze: Link to "upload.wikimedia.org"

929V6 wrote Although I'm not sure of the side windows, there is at some points a striking resemblance with the Hyundai Stellar!

Wicio wrote I think, that car at this photos have windows behind back doors and shorter back than stellar
And also,i don't suspect Stellar in Poland ;)I have never seen this car in Poland...

929V6 wrote I can imagine, if they have ever been in Poland they would quickly fall victim to the rust devil. But if it were a common car it would have been recognized already. Two other cars that crossed my mind (but no idea about how common they were in Poland): Kadett E Stufenheck, 1983 Toyota Camry. But none of them clearly matches.

ingo wrote Definetely no Kadett, it looks totally different. And a Camry is bigger.

Fuego wrote Opel Rekord E2 maybe? Rear side windows can be. See http://www.senatorman.de/bilder/Rekord_e2-018.jpg

Wicio wrote Hmmm...Maybe yes, maybe no...But curves above wheels,i think, are to small for Rekord,in Rekord distinctly stick out over black strip, and rear window is more verticaly in this car at photo

garco wrote What about a Yugo Sana?
Or Tavria?
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/80/ZAZ_Tavriya.jpg

Weasel1984 wrote Yugo Sana/Florida was a hatchback. There weren't Tavrias in Poland before the 90's. Generally there were never Tavria sedans here (not to mention that they started to produce them in the 1990's).
