The film is compilation of episodes of the 1960s animated series "Piesek w kratkę" (about mascot-toy dog ;) ). The old eps. have been edited - mixed with "new" 1980s scenes with actors.

 One of the red and white toys looks a lot like a 1963 Chevrolet Impala.
