One of the many useless airports in Italy, I think that is used only by air ambulances, as the air force has moved away in Bolzano.

Fortunately Venice is a different thing, though it should deserve something of better...

 i think you have had higher density of small airports especially in northern Italy,
going back to stormy development of aeronautic in the 20ies or so!
