Trivia from IMDb: "The license plates are all abbreviations for titles of films by John Hughes. Katie's = VCTN (National Lampoon's Vacation (1983)); Jeannie's = TBC (The Breakfast Club (1985)); Tom's = MMOM (Mr. Mom (1983)); Rooney's = 4FBDO (Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986))."

Je ne pense pas que le sixcyl aurait même énuméré ces derniers. [:rofl]
(I do not think sixcyl would have even listed these.)

karoomay wrote Rooney's computer

This one is the original IBM PC with 1 360KB floppy disk drive with Taxan monochrome monitor. I suspected this one has 64KB of RAM with Parallel/Monochrome card. Probably running off with PC-DOS 2.10 operating system :)

karoomay wrote Ferris' computer

Probably a PC clone with EGA card fitted in. Ferris is using the Microsoft Mouse to paint his picture :D

And a white 1983-86 Fort Thunderbird on the street with a possible Chevrolet Cavalier station wagon in the driveway in this one.

I never noticed this before! It seems to be a late 50s 220 S Cabriolet [W180]:

In my opinion it should have a page (using karoomay's second thumbnail). It's a rare Mercedes and in a very important area of the movie.

I saw Ferris Bueller in the movie for the Ferrari car. Because, I love it.

I remember being in the same room while my parents were watching this on TV when I was 4 or 5 years old. I remember looking up at the TV and the scene with the Ferrari (not when Matthew Broderick was driving) was on. I thought it was pretty funny. Hard to believe that I still remember that.
