 @Dmitry - Why are the pictures different sizes? Aspect ratio is off, they are too wide.

 Well, the old ones are taken from Russian TV, the new ones from Dailymotion (they have better color rendition); as for the new ones, Willys MB 'Jeep picture represents /vehicle_270997-Willys-MB--Jeep-.html (footage from "La ciociara",1960) and as it had black bars, I removed them , which resulted in size difference, I guess. I think I can set new ratio in pixels. What size would you recommend?

 Not sure, I set the width at 575, and that seems close. The older pictures are sharper, so we are leaving them as main pics.
