I imagine "G. Y. Sir" was easier than the literal title, which even I cannot work out with my quick wit for Chinese. Should be something like "Antagonistic Squad Leader of the Super Clumsy Cadets." It's very tricky as the phrase contains two Taiwanisms not clearly described on Wiktionary.

I thought we use the localized native title

And the words "機車" in the title actually means a person is picky and always has something to say, which makes people feel annoyed.
Applying to the title, it means the picky squad leader

Well yes, that's what I intended to say. In one word, "hard to get along with" can be hard to summarize. I originally thought 機車 (motor scooter in Taiwan, locomotive in the PRC) was referring to some kind of vehicle division within the army, but as soon as I found it what they meant by 天兵, the TW slang definition made a little more sense.

We do, I was making an observation based on how they decided to market it in English.
