Some too background interesting cars: Curiously, bottles of this brand of scotch whisky appear everywhere in the movie; as well as bottles, posters and ashtrays of an Italian famous aperitif: -- Last edit: 2016-08-07 02:39:07 |

As frequently it was in '70s and '80s Italians films, I don't know the legislation but a some point in the '90s, product placements must have been outlawed, probably before wasn't regulated by law. Look to certain commedies and crime films, blatantly sponsored by certain alcoholic and soft beverages or mineral water... Evidently an easy way to raise funds for filming. By the way, the Seagram is Canadian, right? |

The ones that collected most appearances/mentions in the 70's movies were the Cynar and the Fernet Branca |

Seagram was Canadian but seems to have been sold off in various directions, with the whisky bit now owned by Paul Ricard. 100 Pipers no longer available as far as I can tell, but old bottles are now collectable. Seems to have been popular in places such as India and Thailand, but one online review says "Truly dreadful, possibly useful as an industrial degreaser but untested. Sharp harsh flavour, no depth or subtly. Tastes like it is mostly cheap grain with a dash of malt no other blender would buy." |
