 Sadly it is supposedly a terrible adaption of the comic :( A Spirou-film was also made.

 I found it not so bad. Much better than what I expected after the first trailer/teaser (maybe they also did some improvements after the bad critics of that one, since it was some time before the theatrical release).
On the other hand, as comparison I saw the really bad Spirou & Fantasio movie just before, so this one seemed maybe better also in contrast: this one is much closer to the comics than the Spirou movie.
