CougarTim wrote I'm not sure this is actually a vehicle. Looks like a generator mounted on a trailer.

Another angle at /vehicle_387164-Willys-Jeep-CJ-2A.html

Jale wrote It's road grader, similar to this Allis-Chalmers (but rather not A-C) - http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2481/3735909078_56c65aff0d.jpg

lightninboy wrote If this is a self-propelled grader, where are the front wheels, where is the operator's station?

mike962 wrote ^

think this can be DELETED

NOT self propelled vehicle !!!

Jale wrote Of corse it is self propelled.

antp wrote It looks like a trailer to me...

Jale wrote Again - it's something like this: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2481/3735909078_56c65aff0d.jpg

4x4peru wrote It is a trailer. CougarTim references the front view that defines it clearly as a single axle trailer.

Jale wrote It has removed front axle. Originally it was something like that:

Jale there is a big flaw in your idea

there is also no FENDERS around the wheels and there are NO tractor tyres either like your own link suggests to be !!
those wheels and tires would never ever really work on a grader

like this vintage tractor based graders had like this

and no driver compartment or steering wheel visible either so all in all this looks like a generator trailer !!

This movie actually came out in September of 1970, not 1971.
